SNOW!!

When we figured out that we would be traveling to Lithuania in the winter, I literally almost cried.  All the research stated how cold it was- negative most of the time- and how dark.  Doesn't that sound like a perfect environment in which to travel with children who do not speak your language??

Thankfully God has provided us with warm weather- drastically warmer than in the States!  Today though, we woke-up to snow on the ground!  Asher about jumped out the window- he has been talking about the snow and pointing it out in the pictures we had sent him.  He kept saying he wanted to pick it up and throw it.  Once we had them all bundled up- we actually were able to use the snow suits and snow boots we had brought- they were all SO excited to go play in it!  Asher, true to what he had said, went right up to the snow, picked up a handful, and tossed it, just like he had said!

The kids loved it.  Simply loved it!  They would probably still be playing on it if we would let them!  Sadly, we had to take the twins back to the Dr, the passport office and the Embassy- so we had to cut the party short.  Hopefully the twins won't be too disappointed in the winters in Virginia....
SO happy to be in the snow!
Playing together
Annalise- with her fistful of bows- she takes them everywhere with her!
See-Saw!
Ride 'em cowboy!
Swinging!!  The twins do not know how to swing- we will fix that!
Asher was happy scooping and tossing the snow!
Annalise LOVED this truck and "drove" it for a long time
Addie made a snowman!
It was such fun- not too cold- and it made me thankful to have packed all these bulky clothes!
