Ride to Vilnius

I apologize, but the photos are all out of order, and I do not want to take the time and effort to rearrange them!

The ride from Siauliai to Vilnius was eventful- very eventful.  We had read that orphans suffer from car sickness simply because they are not exposed to car rides and their inner ear is all thrown off when they are in the car.  We can assure you, from first hand experience, that this is true in Annalise's case!  Asher was not phased, but poor Annalise made up for it.  She was happy for the first 45min, and then she got pale and quiet- we thought she just might be tired- and then the puking started...  The poor thing puked all over everything- herself, her seat, her bag of "treasures", her momma, the seatbelt.  Thank goodness we had an extra change of clothes for her and plastic bags!  On the side of the only major road, we cleaned her and the car up.   After that, she was silent and pale for about 30min and then she seemed to be fine.  Ever since then, we keep a plastic bag in the car.  She has gotten silent and pale when we take a ride anywhere- and we find that about 30min seems to be her max.  Good to know- and now we are in search of SeaBands!

Also on our way to Vilnius- only a 2hr trip- Asher's pull-up exploded.  He had had a lot to drink at his going away party, and I am pretty certain all that, and all that he had had to drink in the last month, surfaced.  When we got to Vilnius, his pants were dripping, his car seat was dripping, his book was dripping....  You get the picture.  He was as happy as a lark and not concerned in the least!

Thank goodness for a bath tub, soap, and a washing machine!  Al and Rebecca were able to wash the car seat covers and even purchase upholstery cleaner- so now the seats and the van do not smell of bodily fulids!

Now for the pics, which is what you really are interested in!
Asher balancing his cup on his book.

Playing with her puke bag- clearly feeling better!
Still a little pale
BEST toy ever- a plastic bag!
A little uncertain as we pull away from the Baby House
Serious as we pull away from the Baby House
Loving to color!
So glad Rebecca captured this- he wanted me to hold his hand
The country side- what our view was like for just about 2 hours
The town where the twins were born
He loved his ABC Lego book- which we had to toss since it was soaked in pee
LOVED the granola bar!
He liked it even though his face doesn't show it!
We made it!!
Bath time- they LOVED it!!  They want a bath ALL day long, EVERY day!
