Apartment #2

Our first apartment was so amazing- just like being at "home"- but sadly it was booked for part of our stay here, so we could only stay for a few days.  On Monday we moved to our 2nd Apartment.  It is a bit more rustic...  We are thankful for a place to stay that is warm, dry, and near the twins.

Living room/Dining room and Rebecca's room- see the bed on the far right?
Kitchen- notice the "stove top" on the counter?  It just plugs in.  The microwave is on top of the 'fridge.
The Perreca Bedroom- there is one more bed to the left off the camera
This large mall, very Western as well, is at the end of the block.  We went, ate lunch, and did some grocery shopping (every large mall we have been to has had a grocery store inside as well- very convenient!).

We went to Charlie's for pizza- they had this amazing play area that the kids loved!  Other kids there tried to talk to them, but sadly my kids have not picked up enough Lithuanian....

Great Coca-Cola- made with real sugar- and I have more soda on this trip since the tap water isn't recommended to drink....
This pizza was HUGE- 50cm- delicious and inexpensive- about $10.

What a HUGE and fun play space!
Adeline loved this huge Christmas tree in the middle!  Christmas isn't over here until after January 7th (Russian Christmas).  The decorations have all been beautiful!

  1. Enjoyed your post. We are adopting two girls from Lithuania... Will be traveling in June. Looking for a place to stay and saw that you really liked your first apt. Do you remember the name? Thank you!
